Thermoplastic Bushes
The thermoplastic bush is a kind of polyformaldehyde (POM) bearing. It is made from partially-crystallized engineering plastics and an appropriate amount of enhancer and lubricant by a twin-screw extruder.
Addition of an enhancer allows the rigidity and high-temperature mechanical properties of manufactured goods to be greatly improved. At the same time, it helps reduce the linear expansion coefficient, molding shrinkage, and the creep properties. As a result, it not only improves the dimensional stability of the thermoplastic bush and expands the range of EP material applications, but also maintains the intrinsic resistance of basic engineering plastics to abrasion, fatigue and drugs.
Characteristics
1. Due to distinguished friction and mechanical properties, our thermoplastic bushes have been used to replace metalware in many places.
2. Their electrical insulating property and chemical resistance are incomparable to those of metalware.
3. This series of bearing for food industry contains no toxic substance.
Applications
The POM bearings are ideal for use in oil-free or low-oil environments. For instance, they are applicable to various industries including the office machinery, vehicles, farming machinery, electric machines, and the textile machinery, etc.
